Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce Announces Annual Members Dinner: A Celebration of of Success and Growth
External Affairs Manager Tony Ruffin for Pepco, an Exelon Company, Will Lead the Board of Directors as Chairman
The Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Members Dinner on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Maryland. This event, which is a testament to the achievements and growth of our 777 members over the past year, celebrates 100 years of advocacy for local businesses throughout Prince George’s County and the state of Maryland.
In addition to the celebration of our members, the Annual Members Dinner marked a significant transition for the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce. It is a platform to recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication of our members.
Tony Ruffin, external affairs manager at Pepco was sworn in as Chairman of the Board of Directors. This transition in leadership was overseen by Prince George’s County Council Chair Jolene Ivey. Chair Ivey also officially sworn-in the 2024-2025 Board of Directors members.

The Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce Annual Members Dinner is held each year to celebrate its members and the past year’s accomplishments. On June 27, 2024, PGCOC sold out their event at Martin’s Crosswinds. Guests enjoyed food and entertainment and lots of networking! In addition, an official swearing-in ceremony was held for Tony Ruffin as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors as well as a ceremony for the 2024-2025 board members. Special remarks were given by Prince George’s County Council Chair Jolene Ivey.
