Business on the Green: PGCOC’s Annual Golf Tournament Celebrated 10 Years

 The Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce successfully hosted its Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Oak Creek Golf Club marking this year as their 10th anniversary of the event. The event welcomed more than 80 participants, bringing together golf enthusiasts, local business leaders, and entrepreneurs for a day filled with friendly competition and professional networking.

The tournament followed a Scramble Format (Captain’s Choice) with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Attendees enjoyed a continental breakfast, assigned golf carts, bottled water, and a lunch reception, culminating in an awards ceremony recognizing contest winners and raffle prize recipients. Each golfer received a gift bag stocked with golf essentials and donated items from various chamber members to keep them entertained throughout the day.

As in previous years, the event offered numerous sponsorship opportunities, allowing businesses to gain valuable exposure among the region’s professional community. From signage on the course to brand recognition in event promotions, sponsors played a key role in the tournament’s success.
