As part of this mission, PGCOC has partnered with CareFirst and FSC First on equity and inclusion grants aimed at creating new opportunities for local businesses. This innovative procurement program is designed to help businesses in Prince George’s County become suppliers to CareFirst, FSC First and other large corporations in the area. - 8 corporate partners including CareFirst, FSC First, Clark Construction, Pepco, Industry Bank, Turner Construction, Hensel Phelps and Luminus Health

- A key benefit of the workshops is the peer-to-peer mentoring. More tenured businesses are able to share experiences and advise newer companies on the ins and outs of proposal writing and the contracting process.
We are excited to have nineteen businesses in Prince George’s county join the initial EIP program cohort. This program is designed to equip cohort members with the tools, resources, and connections needed to successfully compete for corporate procurement opportunities. We are truly excited to support each of the 19 businesses’ journeys and look forward to the procurement strategies they will leverage for success!
